 Location:Atlanta, GA Description:There was a private testing session at Road Atlanta where an individual had brought his six month old Diablo. He had spent most of the day testing the limits of the car as he was observed sliding into and out of every turn on the course. Close to the end of the day, the Diablo came sliding out in turn 11, a blind right hander that crests a hill then drops away below you. This turn is usually taken at just over a hundred miles an hour. The car spun into a 180, arched towards the inside of the track, through the grass then slammed drivers side into a concrete barrier.  Car:2006 Lamborghini Gallardo Description:We were participating in a World Class Driving car event in Cape May, NJ, on October 21. This an event where you pay $995 to "test drive" 6 exotic cars for about 20-30 minutes each on local roads by the event location. These photos were taken after the driver of the Lamborghini Gallardo rear-ended a Ferrari F430 (unfortunately I have no pictures available of that car) in the left lane of the Garden State Parkway near mile marker 4 in Wildwood.  Car:2005 Lamborghini Gallardo and 2007 Porsche 911 Turbo Techart Description:Two young drivers were racing each other at speeds approaching 180 mph. The cars both lost control as one tried to overtake the other, causing them to crash into a wall and catch fire. Both drivers were seriously injured. They were lucky because policemen had already been dispatched to stop and arrest them when the accident occurred. They arrived on the scene immedietely. Location:Budapest, Hungary |
